American Heritage Partners is proud to have sponsored a "Trails to Rails" Symposium hosted by the Oregon-California Trails Association from April 17 to 19 in Independence, Missouri. There was a walking tour of the original "Town of Kansas" before heading to Kansas City's streetcar, which parallels the original route of these three trails. There was also a tour of Union Station and Westport, and more. On Friday night there was a buffet dinner where keynote speaker Jerry Enzler discussed "Jim Bridger in Kansas City".
