Join AHP for a special luncheon event in Salt Lake City, featuring noted author and lecturer Jerry Enzler, author of “Jim Bridger: Trailblazer of the American West.”  Mr. Enzler will talk about his book, and the story of Bridger’s discovery of the Great Salt Lake, which took place in late 1824 and early 1825. Bridger was perhaps the most famous Mountain Man of his era, and his trailblazing successes opened the West to generations of explorers, trappers, surveyors, and pioneer families during the first half of the 19th century. This 200th anniversary lecture will be co-sponsored by the Oregon-California Trails Association.  Registration for this event will open in April 2025.
