Our Mission
American Heritage Partners
American Heritage Partners (AHP) is a Nevada-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to sponsor educational programs related to American history and to partner with the leading heritage societies, institutions, and individuals to better educate and inform our citizens about our rich American heritage. AHP will collaborate with these organizations to gain a wider audience and present the story of America in all its challenges and glories.
To fulfill its mission, American Heritage Partners will:
- Present live and “virtual” educational programs and activities to members of the public and collaborate with our partners to educate and inform our communities about our shared American history.
- Collaborate with other societies, schools, museums and other organizations to host educational and community events.
- Provide information to members of the public about American history.
- Help preserve historical places and artifacts relevant to American history.
- Post articles and stories about American history on AHP’s website and other social media.
- Host training programs for educators on topics related to American history.

Our Team
Jay Dickey
Director, President
Jay serves as Past Governor of the Nevada Mayflower Society, and is Past President of the Nevada Sons of the American Revolution. He also serves as Lt. Governor of the Jamestowne Society’s chapter in Northern California, and is the Treasurer of the Nevada chapter of the Order of Founders and Patriots of America. Jay is a frequent lecturer on American history, including presentations sponsored by various colleges, libraries and historical societies. A graduate of Harvard College and the University of Michigan Law School, Jay practiced law for 40 years in California and New York before retiring in 2017.
Frank Gagliardi
Director
Frank has been active in non-profit organizations, including The Military Officers Association of America, Sons of the American Revolution, The General Society of the War of 1812 and others, and has served as both an Officer and on the Boards of each. He spent 23 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Fighter Pilot. Upon retirement he became a financial planner, then Chief Operating Officer for a business process outsourcing company. He spent 10 years as a volunteer firefighter then Chair of the Fire District Board. In 2020 he was Commissioned a Kentucky Colonel, which is the highest honor the Governor of Kentucky can bestow on an individual.
Mona Crandell Hook
Director
Mona has served in leadership roles in several heritage-based service organizations, currently serving as the State Regent for the Nevada State Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She is also Honorary State President of the Nevada State Society Colonial Dames 17th Century, and served at the National level as Conference Arrangement Chair. Additionally she has served as the Governor and Deputy Governor of the Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims, Nevada Branch.
In 2019, she was named the Outstanding State DAR Member for Nevada by the U.S. Vietnam War Commemoration. In 2022, Mrs. Crandell Hook was recognized by Nevada Governor, Steve Sisolak, as the co-recipient of the Veteran Supporter of the Month. Mona received this award for her long-standing volunteer work with veterans.
Jim McLane
Director, Treasurer
Jim brings many years of experience to AHP, having served for many years as Treasurer to several prominent non-profit organizations, including the Nevada Society of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Nevada Society of Scottish Clans. In those roles, Jim has been responsible for all aspects of those organizations’ financial reporting and regulatory filings, in addition to handling the financial aspects of those societies’ many non-profit activities. Jim’s professional career includes nearly 40 years in the telecommunications industry, and more recently the retail industry.
Alan Fitch
Vice President, Operations
Alan is President of America 250 – Prescott, an Arizona non-profit. He is a former President and Registrar of the Silicon Valley Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution in California. He also a member of The Mayflower Society, Order of Founders and Patriots of America, Society of Colonial Wars, Order of the Crown of Charlemagne and the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, among others. He also serves on the advisory board of United We Pledge and is a board member of the Prescott Chapter of the SAR in Arizona. Alan earned an MBA from Santa Clara University and has had a successful career in financial services and real estate management.
Richard Webster
Secretary
Richard was born and raised in Holliston, MA. He retired from the Navy in 1977 after serving 20 years. He earned an AA in Engineering and a BS in Computer Science from SDSU and worked 28 years in Silicon Valley as a System Design Engineer for Amdahl, Manager of College Recruiting, Manager of two different Engineering Departments (21 Yr) and as a member of Staff for Sun Microsystems (7 Yr) before retiring to Fallon, NV in 2007. Richard is a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants, Sons of the American Revolution, and Order of the Founders and Patriots of America. He also has served as a Cup Scouts Leader, Assistant Scout Leader, Explore Scout Leader, and was awarded the Order of the Arrow. He is also a Certified Red Cross Instructor in Canoeing, Instructor in White Water Canoeing.
Angela Hakkinson
Assistant Vice President, Programs
Angela is a retired business woman with over 30 years experience in the gaming and retail industries. Handles financial and logistics issues in connection with AHP’s public events. She is a member of The Jamestowne Society and several other lineage societies. She is a recipient of Bronze Roger Sherman and Lydia Darragh medals from the Nevada Society of the Sons of the American Revolution for her contributions to SAR educational programs.
